Some Updates

Ok, so I've updated some of my links. First, I deleted John and Matt's evil UIS blogs. They were stupid anyways. Secondly, I added John's REAL blog along with TJ's Blog to my list. I also added some new links that I randomly pulled from my favorites list.

So I don't ever blog, huh?

So it seems according to some people I don't blog enough. I suppose it's just because there really isn't much to blog about. But to keep people happy I will ramble for a bit.

I saw Star Wars Episode III earlier today with my Dad. It was awesome, again. I remember watching the original Star Wars Episodes as a kid. They would run continuously on some station Christmas Day I believe. Then one Christmas I asked for and got the trilogy on VHS (those are the little black box looking things, they have these two white wheels that cycle this strip from one end to the other. Afterwards you have to do a thing called "rewinding").

After that, I became hooked on Star Wars. A friend of mine named James and I were nut cases about it. I still have my Star Wars toys buried somewhere in the attic. I remember one night lying in bed, and realizing that I had left my closet door open. I spent about 5 minutes with my hand outstretched attempting to use the "force" to close the door. The door obviously was a more powerful Jedi then I was because it never would budge.

So other than Star Wars, there isn't much else going on in my life. Just the drab days of summer I suppose. Oh, for my brothers of Marygold 22, Mark dropped off our sofa today. Looks like we're going to have one happening townhouse out at UIS thanks to him. It's nice to know a guy with a lot of sweet hookups. Ok, that's enough rambling for one day, adios!

Summer Break Begins...

So it feels like forever and a day since I last blogged. Then again it probably has been. A lot has happened between then and now, most of which is business I consider done and over with. So instead of talking any further about it, I think I will just blog about whatever comes to me.

Weather, the weather recently has been awesome. I'm a moderate guy. I don't like freezing cold, and I don't like super hot. I like it just right. Usually anywhere from 65 to 85, depending on humidity, is good for me. Yesterday was really great, the rain held off and I got to wash my car myself for the first time (got it last January if memory serves correctly). It was really a bonding experience. Plus is was nice to be outside and not have to worry about homework or anything else. Here are some pics of my clean car for you all to enjoy:

That's right, she's a manual and she'll beat anything small, yellow, and driven by a girl named Lisa.

Sexy, ain't she?

Baby got back!

Needless to say I like my car. I especially like the 30 mpg given the current gas prices. It doesn't take the new E85 though. But still, I'm definitly saving a lot of money on gas compared to my old Dodge Dakota.

So anyways, if you haven't already, get out and enjoy this great weather. In Illinois it promises to never be around for more than a day or two;)!
